KIRKUK,
SENSITIVE POINT IN US-TURKISH COALITION ON IRAQ
Kirkuk is clearly a test, indeed the key point in Turkish-American cooperation within the “international coalition” for Iraq. Why and what does it involve? For the answers please see the article below, as it is one of the fallacies the world media has been, knowingly or unknowingly, disseminating against Turkey with or without the prodding of the American Disinformation Mechanism the world over.

TURKEY IS
PUTTING ITS WEIGHT DOWN IN THE REGION
The pet theme of the Turkish media’s Disinformation Mechanism in the aftermath of Saddam’s Iraq is that Turkey lost tremendous opportunities when, on March 1st, the Turkish Parliament rejected having an American base on its soil. This unfounded claim is based on the Saddam regime’s lack of resistance to the occupying Coalition forces in Baghdad, Tigrit and elsewhere after the end of the third week of the war, especially in the light of the tension over possible Turkish incursions into northern Iraq over Kirkuk and similar issues in this period. For the realities about Turkish developments over the Iraqi issue please see the following article.
